DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

 

Community Integration Group provide services outlined in the NOW and COMP waivers. The waivers include a wide variety of home and community based options to individuals with developmental disabilities allowing them to remain out of institutional settings. Services provided are as follows:

 

 

Community Living  Support Services

Community Living Services (CLS) are provided in the Participant or Family home.  If CLS services are to be provided in the community, it must be to support in home living.  For example, going to the bank or the grocery store would support in home living.  Additionally, community access is limited under CLS, meaning that the majority of CLS must be provided in the home, per Medicaid guidelines.
 

 

Community Access
Community Access Services called Community Access Group and Community Access Individual (CAG/CAI) are provided through the COMP and NOW waivers. CAG and/or CAI services are provided in the community/facility.  CAG is services provided to a group of Participants however CAI is offered at a 1:1 Staff ratio. These services cannot be provided in the home.  

 

 

Supported Employment

Supported Employment is offered to help people with developmental disabilities work in a career of their choice by offering job coaching,job opportunites, and resources.
